Four guys meet up and do something? Well, in normal times, you'd have guessed beer, football, and gaming, but "normal" is nowhere near right now. Four friends Patrick, Malte, Niclas, and David from Hamburg have recognized this and have now set up a unique project in times of the #coronavirus crisis . 💯 💯 💯
The #PayNowEatLater initiative is a non-profit online platform for restaurants, bars, catering establishments, and shops to enable the virtual sale of vouchers during and, of course, after the coronavirus crisis. 🥰
The proceeds from the sale of the vouchers go directly to the respective businesses so they can continue to pay their employees and cover ongoing costs such as rent and operating costs. In keeping with the motto of the #initiative , the owners of the restaurants and businesses will receive the proceeds from the vouchers now, while customers can redeem the vouchers as soon as things return to normal—hopefully very soon. 💪
Even though the four guys can't promise that every favorite restaurant and every favorite shop will emerge unscathed from the Corona crisis with the help of the #PayNowEatLater initiative, they are convinced that the more people join the initiative and offer their support, the more businesses can be helped! 🙏
