Our family would like to sincerely thank you for the many encouraging messages, donations, and gift card purchases. Our parents were deeply touched – we always knew that our guests are the best, but we didn't realize that we mean so much to you and that you're supporting us so well during these turbulent times. That means so much to us! Thank you! 😭 ♥️
At this point, we'd also like to thank a few other special people who have already given us their active support: our landlord, who has announced that he will help us with our rent for the restaurant. Our tax advisor and his entire team, for taking very quick and effective measures for our restaurant after the declaration of a state of emergency, which at least takes some of the burden off our shoulders. Thank you! 👏
Despite the dire impact of the #coronavirus , especially on our health, but also on the economy, on companies, on the hospitality industry, on family businesses, on so many other areas, we are overwhelmed to see how society pulls together and supports one another in difficult times – be it through consideration, helpfulness, solidarity, donations, or hands-on support. The hospitality industry itself, and especially small family businesses like ours, are particularly dependent on your support to get through these difficult times reasonably well. And your willingness to help literally warms our hearts. So, once again: Thank you! 🥰
If we stand together as a society and confront the #coronavirus crisis together, we can do it! And we should always see the positive in any situation: At least Mother Nature is benefiting from this terrible pandemic. Crystal-clear water in the canals of Venice, dolphins in the harbor basin, a decline in particulate matter and a reduction in air pollution in many countries. Who knows, perhaps the crisis will ultimately bring about a shift toward a more environmentally conscious world. 🦠 🙏 🤔
Nevertheless, we can hardly wait to welcome you back to our second home and spoil you with our homemade specialties. Our family wishes you good health, strength, perseverance, and distraction from the bottom of our hearts! 😷 💪
